Join Shannon Douglas, creator of PNW food and lifestyle publication Honest Magazine, for an introduction to woodcut prints and learn how to make your own wood and metal jewelry hanger. A woodcut print takes the inner rings of a tree branch or round and uses ink to transfer these patterns to paper showing the individual patterns of each tree and creating a unique piece of artwork. In the second half of the class, students will learn how to make their own jewelry hanger of rich, walnut-stained wood with brass hooks and bars for hanging earrings and necklaces. Wine and snacks are provided and students leave with one-of-a-kind prints and a beautiful and practical jewelry hangers they made by hand. HonestQuarterly.com
